Powershift gearboxes vary between vehicles. We work from the registration and transmission specification, rather than assuming every Ford automatic uses the same unit. Send any recent diagnostic report or details of previous gearbox work with your enquiry.
Assessment before a repair recommendation
Clutch operation, gearbox controls and internal wear can produce overlapping symptoms. We establish what needs attention before recommending work. Where dismantling is needed to inspect internal damage, the charge and scope are explained first.

Not every Ford automatic uses a Powershift gearbox. We confirm the transmission fitted to your vehicle before discussing compatible repair or replacement options. If the identification points to a different automatic gearbox, we’ll explain the appropriate enquiry route.

Will changing the gearbox oil fix juddering?
Juddering needs assessment. An oil change should not be presented as a guaranteed solution to a mechanical or control fault.
