We support CVT-equipped vehicles including selected Nissan Juke and Qashqai models. The model name alone is not enough to choose a gearbox: engine, year and transmission specification matter. We confirm the fitted unit before quoting for replacement.
Finding the cause of slipping or juddering
Similar driving symptoms can have different causes. Share when the fault happens, whether it changes when warm and any existing fault codes. This helps guide assessment; it does not replace inspection of the vehicle.
Rebuild or reconditioned replacement
If the original gearbox is suitable for rebuilding, we explain the work involved. Where a replacement is the better route, we quote to supply and fit a correctly matched reconditioned unit. You receive a written scope and warranty details before proceeding.
Describe what the car does when you accelerate, slow down and select drive or reverse. Does the engine speed rise without the expected increase in road speed? Does the judder, noise or loss of drive appear only after the vehicle warms up? Include those details with the mileage and any previous gearbox work.
For a Nissan Juke, Qashqai or another supported vehicle, the model name alone is not enough to match a gearbox. The year, engine and transmission identification matter. We confirm the fitted unit before discussing repair, rebuild or replacement.
If the vehicle cannot move under its own power, tell us whether it rolls and whether access is restricted. This helps us assess collection arrangements.

No. We confirm the specification using the vehicle details and, where needed, the gearbox code before sourcing a unit.
Can you quote from another garage’s report?
Yes, send it with your registration and postcode. We can discuss the options, but may need our own assessment before confirming the repair.
Can you arrange collection if the car has stopped driving?
Yes. Tell us where the car is, whether it rolls and whether the wheels can turn. We will confirm a suitable collection arrangement.
