How long will my vehicle be with you?
Vehicles typically stay with us for 5–7 working days. The time needed depends on the vehicle’s issue, so this is an estimate rather than a guaranteed completion date.
Is collection and delivery included?
Yes, when you proceed with an agreed repair package. We confirm collection and return arrangements for your postcode. Standalone recovery and inspection-only charges are explained first.
What warranty do I get?
The agreed gearbox work carries a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty, whichever comes first, subject to the written terms. The warranty covers the agreed work, rather than every component on the vehicle.
How much will my gearbox repair cost?
The gearbox fitted, the confirmed fault and the work required determine the price. Send the registration and any diagnosis for an initial estimate. We explain any inspection or dismantling charge before proceeding.
Will the whole gearbox need replacing?
That depends on the findings. Repair or rebuilding may be suitable. Where a reconditioned replacement is the appropriate route, we quote to supply and fit the correct unit.
Which hybrid gearboxes do you cover?
Our dedicated hybrid pages cover the original Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid / Plug-in Hybrid six-speed DCT and the Volkswagen Group DQ400e / 0DD DSG. We confirm the exact transmission before agreeing any work.
